Urdang Academy Re-Opens This Wednesday 15th July With New Structure!!
The new structure changes the ''two classes session'' that we used to have to only one, this means from now on we will only have one class for all levels (Beginners, Improvers, Intermediate & Advanced) from 7.00pm to 8.15pm and there will now be time to practise after the class.

The next Afri - Kokoa Festival starts with a FREE afternoon programme for families: African drumming, storytelling, and music from 2pm - 6pm. Led by dynamic workshop leader Usifu Jalloh from Sierra Leone who is a professional actor, dancer, percussionist and storyteller and whose unique skills introduce audiences and participants to West African traditions and cultures.
There will also be classic African games in the Café area and outside in the courtyard for kids and parents to enjoy including ‘Ludo’, ‘Owari’ and ‘Ampe’; as well as face painting, jewellery and music shaker making sessions. Plus arts and crafts stalls in the Bar by Senga Design and an art exhibition from Bubble Wrap Arts.
The evening programme features the 12 - piece Afro beat band Yaaba Funk, Afrikokoa resident DJs AJ Kwame and Baggy plus Special Guest DJs Miles Cleret (Soundway Records) and Eric Soul (Afrogroov) among others from 7pm - 1am.
