The GET IT RIGHT - 110% GENUINE CUBAN dance course series - covers dance and music interpretation in a diversity of Cuban dance rhythms and styles - such as Afro-Cuban in ORISHAS/YORUBA & SON. During each course we are going to concentrate on the details and specifications of each dance style. They can be taken consecutively or as a one off.
The ORISHAS/YORUBA course's main aim is to increase the level of understanding of this specific dance style, orishas characterisations and to enhance your dance vocabulary and isolation technique. As well as to introduce you to a whole new context of body language that can later on be used in the ehnancement of your dance. Most of the classes are with Live drum percussion which add a new dimension to your learning.
The SON course is an exciting and unique opportunity for you to learn, brush up on and improve your knowledge of different SON rhythms, that will improve your Cuban dance style and enrich your dance, improvisation and isolation-body movement techniques, as well as your timing, footwork, style, posture and *partner work.
* Courses such as Son are taught by myself, *Alcala &/or *Rafael. We hope to have enough MEN so that both sexes wil benefit to the maximum. However, this will depend in how many MEN are interested in the course.
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTESD IN THIS COURSE ASAP & email us if you are interested in what the course covers
