Blue Eyed Soul Dance Company

IRIE! dance theatre in partnership with City & Islington
College and the London Metropolitan University runs a

Dance Foundation Degree program and every year, as

part of their training, the students do a site-specific

performance.

Last year, the venue for the site-specific performance was the beautiful and historic St Paul 's Church in Deptford. This year, very fittingly, the location for the site-specific performance will be Fordham Park, i.e. where Moonshot Centre is based.

Fordham Park has been recently transformed by some extensive regeneration work and so, if you haven't visited the park as yet this would be a great opportunity to do so.

We've aptly named this site-specific performance:

"Dance Extravaganza in Fordham Park "

There will be two performances - one at 2:30pm and another

at 7:30pm.

So we hope you can join the performers as they create a carnival atmosphere through the park using a fusion of African, Caribbean and Contemporary dance accompanied by live drumming and percussion.

You can check out full details on IRIE!'s website:

http://www.iriedancetheatre.org/dance-extravaganza-in-fordham-park/

It's FREE to attend the performances. Simply meet outside

Moonshot a few minutes before the performance time. So grab

some friends and a picnic basket and make it an extra-special

afternoon or evening.

Best wishes

IRIE!
