Whether you're a first-year student or a graduate, if you embarked on a BA or BMus in 2006* or later, you could benefit from having 9,000 wiped off your Student Loans Company balance by arts charity IdeasTap.
For a chance to win, simply tell us in 100 words or less what you could offer to IdeasTap's network in exchange for the money the more imaginative, original and feasible the idea, the better!
We'll invite a shortlist of our favourite 50 ideas to submit further information, from which we'll select one lucky winner of a 9,000 lump sum, paid directly to the Student Loans Company and four runners-up, who will each receive 500. The winner will then be required to deliver their idea with appropriate support from IdeasTap.

GREAT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY BY THE PLACE

Creative Teaching and Learning at The Place is running a professional development day,Catalyst, for teachers and dance artists working in education and I wondered if you would be so kind as to forward the attached e-flyer to any contact you have who may be interested. The event is on March 9th and there is an ‘early bird’ booking offer, so if you could disseminate it as soon as possible I’d really appreciate it.

Why not make 2013 the year you make the dream of running your own dance classes a reality?
GDance has teamed up with the University of Gloucestershire to run a 2-day weekend course for dance enthusiasts, Performing Arts or Sports students and community dance leaders interested in taking their first steps in to teaching high quality dance.
The course takes place at the University of Gloucestershire’s Oxtalls Campus, Gloucester on 9 & 10 February 2013.
The course will help boost your confidence if you are new to dance leadership, and can also refresh the practice of leaders already teaching in the local community. A former student commented:
‘I have learnt many ways in which I can improve as a leader. I have been impressed by the amount of knowledge you have fed to us over the last few days. It was brilliant.’
GDance, who are supported by Gloucester City Council, Arts Council England and several high profile Trusts, have been running this course for 5 years.
It is one of several initiatives designed to develop local talent in both dance teaching and choreography.
