A slick, glamorous package of live Afro-beats to electrify your eyes, ears and bodies on the dance floor!

House of the holy Afro is the temple of modern African groove – a genre-busting club show where live gospel, poetry and dance come together in an explosion of colour, rhythm and thumping exuberance; leading the audience on the dancefloor in a unforgettable trip through the rhythms of 21st century Africa.

Performed by seven singer-dancers, House of the Holy Afro provides a wildly energetic and audacious fusion of the urban and traditional, of raucously sung gospel and pulsing house beats, of slam-poetry and Afro-pop; to create an explosive night of driving rhythms, soaring harmonies and outlandishly irreverent kitsch.

“Flash, funky Afro-kitsch; this exuberant show - part clubnight, part musical - is as much fun as you can have in a church hall before midnight.” Metro
