Dance AfroBeats, an International Dance competition featuring dancers from all over Europe and beyond who specialise in a variety of African style dancing.
Dance Afro Beats is a reality dance competition where talented dancers showcase their moves to Afro Beats rhythms. Be it traditional or contemporary in style, Dance Afro Beats will feature it all. The dancers come from a wide variety of dance backgrounds and are often, but not exclusively, amateur or semi-professional in experience. The competition will require contestants to adapt to a variety of African styles of dance. As the competition progresses, a combination of judge decisions and at-home-viewer votes determine which dancers will advance in the competition from week to week, until ultimately one dancer is voted champion of that particular season and receives a prize package that may consist of money, work or training opportunities, additional material prizes and typically the title of the respective country's "Favourite Dancer" (i.e. "Britain’s Favourite Afro Beats Dancer").

Louis Pierre Yonsian
Originally from Ivory Coast, Louis Pierre pursues with passion and talent his career of choreographer, artistic interpreter and teacher.
A graduate of Edec (école de danse et d’échanges culturels (School of Dance and Cultural Exchanges by the choreographer Rose Marie Guiraud) in Ivory Coast where he was trained in traditional and contemporary African dance, Afro jazz and Western modern dance.
He obtained several first prizes from 1987 to 1996 in Ivory Coast either as a dancer or choreographer.
His artistic talents lead him quickly to France and Europe where he came across numerous companies he has worked with since 1997, before joining the company Georges Momboye, that offered him a few of his best roles that promoted his special style filled with dexterity and grace.
He regularly helped Georges Momboye as assistant choreographer and coach (for the shows Adjaya and recently for the event in Germany called “Summer Night” that brought together more than 100 artists (dancers and musicians). Louis Pierre also teaches all year at the Centre de dance Momboye, and teaches numerous courses in France and abroad (Switzerland, Mali, Italy, etc.)
In Contemporary African Dance, Louis Pierre's teaching draws its sources from the rhythms of traditional African dances but leaves room for research and the discovery of the body. It works on integrity and control that rests on rhythms and sounds that are quite contrasted. Discovery, creativity, control of the body and expression of emotions are the major axes in the teaching of contemporary African dance.
It is with passion that he will convey all the riches of his art, by allowing you to acquire the basic techniques as well as developing your own expression and creativity.
