Above is the stunning image of Maracatudo Mafua's open song for Oxum!

In a square that held so many decisive moments in history, the chance to cleanse and portrait with pride, new setlist and costumes directly from Maracatu Nacao Pernambuco from Olinda made this a moment to be engraved in our minds and heart.

Brazil day was the event that painted the square in Brazil colours and thanks to the Brazilian Embassy in London for the invitation!

We received many links as the media coverage became a gift of memories we share with you!

Photo albums via ZIMBIO , DEMOTIX, EMBASSY and video by CANAL LONDRES and a great audience member with an enthusiasm and a camera in hand!

Below a royal picture of our dear King Romero de Mangueira and Queen Bea Shantifa at the Times!
I Amazon Film Festival

We hope that most people will think about the forest rather than the shopping website when the work AMAZON comes up!

Instituto BR is investing their energy towards the first Edition of a much needed Film Festival that will showcase a Brazil that even most brazilians don't know about it!

A crowd funding campaign is on and we hope they achieve the target, this depends on all of us that love brazilian culture.
For Londoners you can enjoy at Rich Mix from July 10th and 12th.

Full info here!
Are you proud to be a brazilian?

The theme and title relates to a movie by Adalberto Piotto that will not only be screened at Kings College but also will have his presence specially for this event with a session of Q&A!

Brought to you by Culturart.
