The Afro-Latin Lounge
The urban streetdance-style electro – a mix of break-dancing, disco, voguing, popping and locking – meets theatre, contemporary dance and music, with an especially composed soundtrack which mixes techno with electro house, afrobeat, sampling and classical music. Elektro Kif is choreographed by Blanca Li, who has choreographed music videos for Goldfrapp, Sir Paul McCartney, Blur, Daft Punk and Kanye West.

Hello! We’re IdeasTap. We’re a not-for-profit organisation that helps young people break into the creative industries. We offer all kinds of free opportunities including funding, advice and networking to help young people develop their creative careers. We’re also partnered with major arts organisations including Old Vic New Voices, National Youth Theatre, National Skills Academy for Creative and Cultural, Magnum Photos and NSDF. Earlier this year, we teamed up with Sky Arts to give two emerging artists from any creative discipline £30,000 each. We’re now re-launching this award, through which we’re hoping to give away three bursaries of £30,000 each. To give people advice on how to apply and what we’re looking for, we’re holding nationwide Q&A sessions and have enlisted a panel of industry experts to help. On Wednesday 7th December, our team will lead an afternoon seminar at Manchester Art Gallery from 2pm - 5pm. We’re keen to make this opportunity accessible to as many young creative people aged 18-30 as possible, so please do pass this information on to anyone you feel might be interested. You can read more about Sky Arts Ignition: Futures Fund and the seminars here:http://www.ideastap.com/ideasmag/all-articles/Sky-Arts-Ignition-Futures-Fund-Seminars If you’d like to find out more about IdeasTap and what we do, please visit us at www.ideastap.com.Looking forward to seeing you there!Best wishes,The IdeasTap Marketing Team
