| Christmas Intensive In December we hosted our Christmas Intensive at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre and had a fantastic turn out and response! Led by Artistic Director Bawren Tavaziva, participants were invited to get creative and experience the company’s signature style! The dancers were able to push their bodies to the limit and be immersed in Bawren Tavaziva’s unique fusion of African and contemporary dance. Dancers had the opportunity to learn company repertoire and work creatively in the studio with Bawren Tavaziva.
Comments from our Christmas Intensive participants include...
"It was great fun and good to push your body and challenge yourself."
"The African based technique was the most enjoyable...I felt I would not have got it anywhere else."
"Learning the material was very fun and challenging!"
Executive Director Iyshea Hunte also remarked how wonderful it was to see so many aspiring dancers!
For those of you that attended the Christmas Intensive, remember you can have a free company class in the New Year!

| Tavaziva Male
Since offering and delivering ‘Taster’ workshops to young men in the London boroughs of Haringey and Enfield we have been able to launch our weekly Tavaziva Male sessions at The Bernie Grant Arts Centre. These sessions are providing young men the chance to experience the signature style of the company and encourage them to take part in Tavaziva Male on a weekly basis to develop their dance training.
Participants from Tavaziva Male will now have the wonderful opportunity to start working towards a performance for Tavaziva Dance’s end of season performance at The Bernie Grant Arts Centre. Bawren will be working intensively every Monday with the young boys to expand their knowledge and understanding of dance with his unique fusion of African and Contemporary Dance.
If you think you have raw talent, if you live in Haringey, Enfield or Waltham Forest and are interested in attending the weekly sessions there are still a few places left!
