Hello there,Please, for the ones that are up to be part of the Show on Nov the 1st. :: Waterman :: You can see the more info from Rajesh msg bellow...The organizers will cover transport expenses and we will have 1 or 2 drinks for free (Rajesh can you confirm this please?)The idea is to play 4 Sets + 1 with Rajesh doing his thing = 5 setsStructure:1 - I will go to the stage with the pandeiro plugged and will do a short demo to invite the other musicians.2- YUNA DRUM'N'BASS :: Berimbaus playing Yuna rhythms + Pandeiro (me and Ramia) playing Drum'n'Bass3 - PANHA A LARANJA NO CHAO TICO-TICO (PLCT) :: Berimbaus playing PLCT + Pandeiros playing Hip-Hop4 - Capoeira Rhythms poutpourry :: Angola, Angola dobrada, Jogo de Dentro, Sao Bento Grande, Cavalaria ...5 - Samba Mix :: 2 Agogos (Rio Samba School rhythm & Candomble rhythm) + Berimbaus (Samba de Roda phrase) + Drums 3 Surdos playing AfroBahian rhythm + Plugged Pandeiro doing improvisation6 - Rajesh and pandeiros groving hip hop rhythms (me, Ramia, Alan and maybe others that are able to play it rhythms)**********************************************Dear FriendsI would like to invite you all to a show being organised by a friend of mine Anjan Saha. The name is 'Literature Lounge' and it is a bi-monthly event held in London and Brentford. It is an eclectic show featuring a range of poets and musicians. The next show is on at Waterman centre in Brentford on Saturday November 1st at 7:30pm. Kabula has been invited to perform a 20 minute set of music, rhythmic traditions and capoeira. The evening will be good fun in an excellent cultural venue and the more we have on stage the merrier.Please let me know if you're up for being part of the evening. The plan is to travel together after class on Nov.1st. We will get travel expenses and a couple of drinks after the show.
