Feedback33 is a Professional Dancers' Mentoring Forum set up by Sheron Wray.
An opportunity to take part in various dance techniques with teachers from around the globe. It is a chance to gain insights into the passions, challenges, and experiences of various artists and teachers.
Robert Hylton will lead a Popping and Boogaloo technique and styles class exploring the fundamentals of the form, musicality and foundation into improvisation concepts and choreography for Popping and Contemporary techniques, as well as exploring some of the social dances of the early seventies that led us into modern street dance as we know it today..
Date & Time: 22nd January 7-9.30pm
Please come for registration at 7pm. Class will commence at 7.30pm-9.30pm
Cost: £13 annual registration fee and £3 for class thereafter!

Biography
Pioneering Hip Hop theatre artist Robert Hylton, whose left of centre approach to hip hop, theatre, film and contemporary dance choreography has carved an original artist. Robert’s work is ground breaking, dynamic and accessible. Hylton was a nominee for the Jerwood Choreography Award, and previously an Associate Artist at The Place theatre.
Film work includes Jaffaman, funded by ‘Capture’ 2002 shown on channel 4, with director Oliver Ashton. ‘Two Sugars with My Hip Hop please’ with director Curtis James, an education film with an OAP group commissioned by the Southbank and in 2008 his directorial debut was seen on channel 4 with his new short film Fresh ‘A Spaghetti and Fried Chicken Western’. Education is at the forefront of Roberts work which has taken him all around the world, teaching hip hop and contemporary fusion, along side specific - hip hop only intensives such as Skills n Drills a yearly event focusing on hip hop dance technique, history and video lectures.
His Stage and site specific work such as Life in Urban Classicism and Verse &Verses have toured relentlessly in the UK and internationally with many British Council tours as far a field as Australia, New Zealand, Bangkok, Indonesia, Taiwan, Belgium, Copenhagen, Cyprus, Holland, Italy, Mozambique, South Africa, Lithuania, Prague, Croatia, Cuba and Libya.
