To celebrate Martin Luther King Day on Sun 18 January and the one year anniversary of Barack Obama’s inauguration on Tues 20 January, Rich Mix presents a week of special events encompassing theatre, film, spoken word and live music.
Film: Malcolm X

Spike Lee’s acclaimed biopic of the controversial and influential black activist Malcolm X starring Denzel Washington. The film takes us through his inauspicious beginnings and imprisonment, through to his conversion to the Nation of Islam and his later rejection of their divisive teachings.
