The Afro-Latin Lounge

Hi Y'all

Sorry for the group email..........As you may know we have recently started a new project Orchestra Bombo. This is a project we would like to grow and grow by bringing in dancers, singers and more horn players, not to mention setting up gigs etc...., but realistically we don’t have the manpower to administrate it.

We would also like to keep the Rumbas in Kings Cross going which include very affordable workshops but this is in danger of being dropped because we are unfunded and seriously understaffed.

So.....if you have an interest in these projects continuing and have the odd spare hour and would like to help these are some of the things you could do:

· Updating of social networking, spreading the word
· Documenting events with film & photography and uploading on to website/social network
· Setting up Google calendar for group members (Orchestra Bombo)
· On site help, collecting email addresses, taking money, overall help with running of event
· Updating newsletter and emails
· Contacting promoters for gigs or Rumba events

If you would like to chat in more detail about any of the above please give me a call on 07538682180.

Thanks for your support so far!

Dear Salsa Lover,Behind all the steps, all the spins, turns, embraces, touches, smiles and looks - there is only one thing. The thing that connects it all. You are guessing right? Love. And we don't mean it in that cheesy, Hollywood-movie-from-the-50s way. We are thinking about that true feeling of being connected with your partner, enjoying his embrace, loving the dance and loving that moment when somehow it all fits. That is why it is with great pleasure we invite you to experience the 1st Valentine's Zagreb Salsa Festival. Not just a weekend filled with the magic of outstanding instructors, stunning performances and glamorous salsa parties - but a unique experience where our mutual passion is dancedand loved.Open your heart and join us on the weekend of February 17th - 19th in Zagreb to share the magical moments of Salsa...To find out more, click here
